Introduction

 

The purpose of this website is to provide information concerning my availability to you as a teacher of clarinet and music.

Although my career as a player and teacher has been long and robust without recourse to any web presence, it occurs to me that web outreach has become so central and dominant in our lives, that to not make myself apparent and available on it may mean that I am unintentionally hiding myself from musicians to whom I might be of value.

 

Among the sections of this website will be a general presentation of my bio much as it appears in program books or CV, as well as some recorded excerpts of my performances. But I thought I’d first make a preface to that which will offer a brief bio overview and some perspective about the orientation of how I teach and the underlying basis of how and why it works.
